What if?

Wonder what would happen if we treated our Book of Mormon like we treat our cell phones? What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets? What if we turned back to get it if we forgot it? What if we flipped through it several times a day? What if we spent an hour or more using it every day? What if we used it to receive messages from the text? What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it? What if we gave it to kids as gifts? What if we used it as we traveled? What if we used it in case of an emergency? This is something to make you go...."Hmmm....where is my Book of Mormon?
Oh, and a few more things--"Unlike our cell phones: One Plan fits all. Unlimited usage. No roaming charges. You always have reception. You don't have to buy batteries. No weak signals AND We don't ever have to worry about our Book of Mormon being disconnected because Our Savior already paid the bill!

Wow! I can't believe the last time I posted was so long ago. Time really has flown for me. Summer is here! Rachel graduated from High School and went to college all in the same week. :) She's up at BYU-I with Chelsea. They are roommates for the second block of the summer semester. Probably a recipe for disaster = too much fun, no studying. Ha! Katelyn and Garrett left the same day we took Rachel up to BYU. They have been spending time with all the cousins in Utah. We sure do miss them. Tanya and Tony are home slightly busy with Volleyball and Basketball open gyms (friends and t.v.)
This past weekend I had the privilege of going to Youth Conference with my ward. I was the substitute Young Women's leader. It was so fun! We camped at the Temple Hill Resort, right next to the Manti Temple. They got to play games with all the kids in the Stake, go swimming, clear the weeds from around trees and bush's on the hill by the Temple. While they were weeding they discovered all kinds of creepy crawlies, a snake, a sheep skull complete with teeth and a huge jack rabbit! Then they goofed off and took pictures. I had never been to the Manti pageant and it was so awesome! The spirit was strong throughout the pageant. Wonderful!! I would love to take the rest of my family. The YW/YM were a little disturbed by the protesters and wanted to set them straight, but we explained to them that we didn't need to confront them, just let them be. Once the pageant started the protesters were forgotten. The weather was a little cold at night (below 45) but it warmed up nicely by 9 am. I think the youth in my ward got to know each other better and meet new people in the stake. Fun, fun, fun!! I'll post some picture soon. :)

One of my goals in the new year is to prioritize my life. I don't want to fall into the trap of thinking everything needs to be done by me and now!

So thanks to my new organizer (which I'm addicted to, thanks Chelsea) :) I'll be able to understand where I need to improve and where I can delegate to others.

Family

These photo booths are so much fun! At first it was all the girls and then Garrett stuck his head in at the last moment. It does my heart good to see their smiling faces. I hope they'll always remember these days. :)

Kids and cameras! Thank goodness they love to use them. I don't think I would have near the amount of pictures I do if the kids weren't taking them every moment of the day. :) I can hardly keep up with all of them. I'm glad to be able to post them here, it will help keep me organized. I hope :)

Here we go....

I'm a Mom to 6 wonderful kids, 4 girls and 2 boys. My oldest is going to college in a couple of days and the next in line will graduate this May. Wow! The years have just flown by. Yesterday it seemed like the kids were all little and now they are leaving the nest one by one. sniff, sniff! I'm a stay at home Mom whose interests are; reading, crocheting, crafts, church, indexing, cleaning, volunteering at school, choir mom, spouse's group, hanging out with the family, tv and decorating.
